Big Universe- Create a book!
At Big Universe, I was able to create a book called The Gorillas. Each page
displayed a gorilla doing a different action (running, playing with a yo-yo, eating).
Readers were asked, in comparison to the gorilla, what their favorite [blank] was.
This resource is great because it allows the teacher or student to create their own book
or story which can be printed or published. In the free version (which I subscribed to),
you were only allowed to create the book online. There was no available link to the book which
I found, which makes this a difficult site to use unless you pay the monthly fee. I feel
that as a teacher, this would be a valuable investment. In a reading class, teachers could specify
what topic they would like a student to create a story on and the student could easily access this resource.
There are so many great ways to use this tool! To access my book, The Gorillas, click on the link above.

down to Edit/Publish Books I Created. Click on The Gorillas and ENJOY!!
I used myebook to create a virtual book for future teachers.
I focused on the ABC Method and offered various strategies for teaching
our future students comprehension skills. Although this process was tedious
and time consuming (roughly 4 hours), I was happy with the end result.
This resources would be a great tool for teachers to create "class books"
using pictures or stories created by the students! Anyone can access this site
so students and their parents can also review what lessons are going on
within the classroom. Overall, this was an awesome way to cover a topic or introduce
a lesson in an unique format. To view myebook, click on the link below. The password is: kerrie
